NAME’s membership encompasses the spectrum of professional educators and specialists, including early childhood, classroom and higher education faculty, administrators, psychologists, social workers, counselors, curriculum specialists, librarians, scholars, and researchers. Persons affiliated with cultural centers, museums, teacher education, ethnic studies, ELL and bilingual education, social science, anthropology, liberal and fine arts programs, and other departments, colleges, institutions and schools that emphasize multiculturalism are also encouraged to become members.

Membership Benefits

• Free subscription to NAME’s quarterly journal, Multicultural Perspectives (for more information on the journal, contact Penelope Lisi, Co-Editor, at lisip@ccsu.edu or visit the Publications section of the NAME Web site);
• Free NAME Newsletter published three times a year;
• Free subscription to NAME-MCE, a ListServ (email discussion group) with over 1,000 members;
• Reduced registration fee for NAME’s annual conference;

There are two easy ways to join NAME:

2)  Or you can download and complete the NAME membership form and mail it  or Fax it to us at the National Office. The address and Fax are on the form.
