2008 Annual International NAME Conference
The 18th Annual NAME International Conference was held in New Orleans, LA on November 12th through 16th, 2008.
The Conference Theme: Beyond Celebrating Diversity: ReACTivating the Equity and Social Justice Roots of Multicultural Education
The 2008 conference was held at the Sheraton New Orleans next to the French Quarter, located at the heart of New Orleans’ unforgettable dining, intoxicating live music, Old World charm, and good time living.

You are receiving this for being on the National Planning Committee for the 2008 NAME conference in New Orleans. This is simply a thank you from an attendee of the conference. I will not be long-winded because there is so much I could say about what I took away from this conference. I think that is mainly due to the planning and the hard work put in prior to the event. I thank you all for a great few days of enlightening presentations and for organizing an event where hundreds of wonderful people could meet and share ideas. Please extend this thank you to any persons you know who were involved in the Local Host, Awards, and Proposal Review Committees. Thanks again.
