Visit to an elementary school and meet with teachers and students

Meeting with representatives of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP)

Lunch at paladar Setos (included)

Visit to the Museum “26 de Julio”
    located in the former Moncada Barracks, place attacked by Fidel Castro and a group of young revolutionaries in 1953, turned after the triumph of the Revolution into a Scholar Center

    Explore the oldest, historic district of Havana; including Plaza San Francisco, Plaza Vieja, Plaza de Armas & the Cathedral

Meeting Community Project Espiral (Esprial-Cuba-NAME) 
    Proyecto Espiral, is a grassroots project dedicated to educate young people on environmental issues and sustainable development. Discussion on various pressing issues in Cuba with college students and young professionals

Monday, May 7
Visit to the Pedagogical Sciences University

Visit to the Literacy Campaign Museum at Ciudad Liberta
    learn about Cuba’s Literacy Education Program, “Yo Si Puedo” 

Visit to the home and art studio of José Fuster,
    learn about Community Art Project - Fusterlandia

Lunch at the Fuster art studio (included)

Cultural activity with the Community Project Okan-Tomi,  
    a community project that explores and reworks Afro-Cuban dances and music traditions

Farewell dinner (included)

Farewell party with Cuban friends and guests
